Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration is the worldwide anniversary expansion. Street date is 16 September 2026 in participating markets on the same day. This guide follows the official product showcase and flags the rest as more details coming soon.
What Is Pokémon 30th Celebration?
Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration is the official name of the 30th-anniversary expansion. It is a special all-foil set, not a regular Mega Evolution numbered booster-box expansion like Pitch Black or Chaos Rising. The Japanese sister printing is MEGA Expansion Pack 30th CELEBRATION (M6a). Both printings share the 16 September 2026 street date — the first Pokémon TCG expansion with a coordinated global launch.
Every card in the set is foil, including Basic Energy. Every booster pack includes one of 30 unique foil Pikachu, each by a different illustrator. The set debuts a new rarity, Futuristic rare, with art by YOSHIROTTEN. The first of those cards are Mewtwo and Mew. New cards also show Pokémon in daytime and nighttime scenes. A Classic Collection of 30 foil reprints returns older cards — including Base Set Charizard and Pikachu & Zekrom-GX from Sun & Moon—Team Up. Those reprints are not legal in Standard.

How Packs Work
This is a special-set pack, closer to Celebrations than to a 36-pack English Mega Evolution box. TPCi’s product showcase is how English packs reach shelves: Elite Trainer Boxes, collections, tins, bundles, and premium kits. There is no standalone English booster box in that lineup.
The first three revealed Pikachu illustrators are OKACHEKE, Yuu Nishida, and Atsuko Nishida. The other 27 arts: more details coming soon.
Cards Revealed So Far
The June 1 announcement named the mechanical hooks and a first wave of Pokémon. It did not publish a full English numbered gallery.
