What Is Pokémon Delta Reign?

Pokémon Delta Reign is the official English name for Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign. It is the English printing of Japan’s Storm Emeralda expansion (M6), plus extra cards from the Japanese MEGA starter decks. The face of the set is Mega Rayquaza ex, back in the TCG as a Mega Evolution for the first time since XY—Ancient Origins.

The other confirmed Mega Evolution Pokémon ex are Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex, and Mega Golisopod ex. The set also introduces Legendary Stadiums: two Stadium cards that must be played together and complete one piece of art when placed side by side. Packs that contain a Legendary Stadium include both halves.

Legendary Stadiums

Legendary Stadiums are the new mechanical hook. Each “Stadium” is two Uncommon cards with the same name. You play them as a pair. The two halves form one wide illustration. Because both halves share a name, a deck can still only run the usual Stadium name limit — two complete pairs, not four independent Stadiums.

English scans confirm Legendary Summit 096/103 and Legendary Summit 097/103. The printed effect: if a ★ Pokémon is Knocked Out by damage from an opponent’s attack, that player takes one fewer Prize card. Pack art and the ETB Kyogre promo both point at this pair.

English Cards Revealed So Far

TPCi posted the first English scans with the 20 August 2026 announcement. These six cards lock the DLR code and the 103-card main set.

Chase Cards to Know

Until the English secret-rare gallery is out, treat the Japanese Storm Emeralda chases as the map. The English SIR count is six. Kyogre’s Japanese Illustration Rare is not in the English set list — it is the Elite Trainer Box promo (MEP 117).

What Still Has to Be Confirmed

Delta Reign’s English main set is larger than Storm Emeralda’s 76-card Japanese main set because starter-deck cards are being folded in. Official copy says six Pokémon ex. There are seven Japanese candidates: Heat Rotom, Wishiwashi, Raikou, Talonflame, Eevee, Meowscarada, and Zoroark. One of those ex printings will not make the English set.
